How to Write Powerful Presentations and Public Speeches

Give your child the tools to communicate with confidence in school and beyond! This workshop is designed to help young learners develop essential skills in speechwriting, presentation and public speaking.

By mastering these skills, your child will gain the self-assurance needed to excel in academics, social settings, and future leadership roles. This workshop is for ages 10-13.

Part One (Weeks 1-3):

Students will explore how speeches influence and inspire audiences. They will learn to craft compelling messages by writing speeches from different perspectives, understanding speech structure, and incorporating persuasive techniques like ethos, pathos, and logos.

Part Two (Weeks 4-6):

Students will focus on refining their speeches with powerful language and tone. They’ll learn to use figurative language and rhetorical devices, analyze speech tone for emotional impact, and apply delivery techniques to bring their speeches to life in a final performance.
