Mandy Virk, MPC, RCC

Mandy is a registered psychotherapist who uses a trauma-informed, holistic and flexible approach centered around each client’s needs. She has a B.A. and Masters in counselling psychology from Adler University and is a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Mandy uses evidence-based modalities like Somatic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and Gottman couples therapy. Her primary areas of focus are giftedness, anxiety disorders, depression, Stress management, and life transitions. Mandy is passionate about diversity and inclusivity and welcomes individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds. She believes in the resilience, strength, and inherent capability of every individual to heal. Regardless of the depth of the challenges you face, together, you can navigate toward a place of healing, growth, and renewed well-being.

A dedicated therapist, her approach is holistic and flexible, centred around meeting the unique needs of each client. Life’s struggles can manifest in various ways, such as a dysregulated nervous system, depression, addictions and more. She specializes in navigating these complexities through somatic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive lenses.

Mandy provides counselling in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. She is available in person and online.

Friday 9:00 am- 8:00 pm

Saturday 11:00 pm- 8:00 pm

50 minute sessions: $160 + GST
Couples sessions: $200 + GST
ICBC sessions: $160 + GST. (ICBC reimburses $135 plus GST, clients are asked to pay directly the full amount of the sessions and they can get reimbursed from ICBC.

Mandy is very passionate about travel, long drives, deep conversations, meeting people, reading, writing, canoeing, yoga, meditation, walking, hiking and lifting weights. She is very much into holistic health so she attends a lot talks and retreats about Mindfulness, gut biome, sleep exercise, nutrition and meditation.
