Workshop
Description
This workshop equips students with the tools to organize their thoughts, manage their time effectively, and approach assignments with confidence. Through structured guidance, students will learn how to craft well-structured essays, improve their focus, and implement strategies for efficient studying, making academic tasks more manageable and less overwhelming. The Focus: Essay Writing and Executive Function Skills.

These valuable skills will not only enhance their performance in school but also set them up for long-term success in their education and beyond. This workshop is for ages 10-13.

Part One (Weeks 1-3):
Students will learn the basics of executive function (EF), identify their strengths and challenges, and set goals for improvement. They’ll develop skills in time management, planning, staying focused, and creating a distraction-free environment for better productivity.

Part Two (Weeks 4-6):
Students will focus on organizing materials, digital files, and assignment tracking systems. They’ll strengthen working memory, build flexible thinking for adapting to changes, and apply everything they’ve learned by creating a personalized EF system to improve their daily tasks.

Cost: $380 (+GST) for 6 sessions.
