Catalyst Adult Workshops

Through our Catalyst Adult workshops, individuals, employees, families and groups can benefit to grow both personally and professionally through skill development. We create opportunities for individuals to develop new skills or enhance existing ones.
This includes personal development skills such as communication, assertiveness, time management, teamwork, leadership or cross-cultural connections. Through gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their goals, participants can improve their job performance and create potential career and personal advancement opportunities.

Our Adult Workshops
Our assertiveness workshops help individuals become more confident, assertive, and empowered in their personal and professional relationships, leading to improved communication, healthier boundaries, and greater self-respect.
Our workshops are designed to help individuals learn the skills and techniques needed to express their thoughts, feelings, and opinions in a clear and confident manner while respecting other people’s rights and boundaries. Our psychotherapists teach skills that enable individuals to be assertive in different social situations, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and emotion management.
We teach participants how to identify the signs of passive or aggressive communication, build self-esteem, practice mindfulness, and manage stress and anxiety.
Audience includes the public, from youths to adults.
Our educators provide individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to set, pursue, and achieve their goals more effectively.
They teach individuals how to set and achieve their personal or professional (achievable) goals realistically, effectively and in a timely manner.
These workshops cover:
- Understanding the importance of goal setting
- Identifying personal and professional goals
- Creating a roadmap to achieve these goals
- Developing strategies to overcome obstacles or setbacks
- Measuring progress and staying motivated
- How to do self-care and reduce anxiety
Gifted Parenting therapy groups offer a wealth of benefits for parents and their exceptional children.
Led by our experienced giftedness counsellors, these groups provide essential guidance and strategies tailored to the unique needs of gifted kids. They also offer a supportive community where parents can find emotional support, connect with like-minded families, and build lifelong relationships. By participating in these groups, parents gain a deeper understanding of nurturing their child’s giftedness, fostering balanced development in their cognitive, emotional, and social aspects.
Attending these workshops not only strengthens the parent-child relationship but also enhances the child’s overall well-being and future success.
The Parent & Youth Relationships therapy workshops are a transformative experience designed to strengthen the bonds between parents and their adolescents.
In a supportive environment, families come together to explore and navigate the challenges that often arise during this critical stage of development. These workshops are led by our experienced psychotherapists and focus on improving communication, understanding, and empathy between parents and their youth.
Through open and honest discussions, parents gain valuable insights into their children’s perspectives, while young participants learn to express their feelings and needs constructively. The goal is to foster healthier, more harmonious relationships.
Our healthy relationship workshops teach clients how to establish and maintain healthy relationships with others.
These workshops often cover a range of topics related to communication, trust, respect, boundaries, conflict resolution, and intimacy. It can be implemented at work or in your personal life.
Our psychotherapists will teach participants how to identify and express their feelings effectively, manage their emotions in the context of relationships, and develop effective communication skills. They will also help participants to identify any underlying emotional or psychological issues that may be impacting their ability to form healthy relationships and provide strategies for addressing these issues.
This may involve individual or group psychotherapy sessions, as well as ongoing support and encouragement as participants continue to work on their relationship skills.
These groups are for couples and for singles looking to improve their future healthy relationship patterns and skills.
Our mindfulness classes teach individuals how to be more present in the moment and increase their awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.
Our classes are led by experienced psychotherapists who can provide guidance and support to help members establish a regular meditation routine. We also offer breathing exercises and discussions on topics such as stress reduction, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.
Through mindfulness practice, individuals can learn to better manage their thoughts and emotions, improve their focus and concentration, and enhance their overall mental and emotional well-being.
Our educators work with individuals on time management skills so they can be more productive and organized, leading them to be more successful and less stressed in their careers, education, and daily life.
